This is a message Dr. Michael Brown preached at last year’s Fire For Life Summer School. We are so used to putting our confidence in political power and democracy instead of God and prayer, but we’re never going to change the nation by the arm of the flesh. If God had to tell Joshua and Paul to fear not, then maybe He needs to tell us also.
We continue our spiritual disciplines series with one more entry. This week Dan and Steve discuss the process of waiting on God. Sometimes we feel Him everywhere in our life, other times the heavens seem made of brass and like He couldn’t be further away. Join us as we plow through some Scriptures and talk about how this relates to our spiritual lives on a practical basis. We also cover some brief updates. Hope you all had a great Easter Weekend.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). It’s a common catch-phrase used in many charismatic circles, but is the way “being led by the Spirit” commonly taught really biblical? What is the difference between being led by the Holy Spirit, and having the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16), or being a doer of the Word (James 1:22)?
