How could we have a sacred cow barbecue and not include one of the most controversial topics of all in The Church--MONEY? This week we tear apart a couple of typical “offering verses”—passages misquoted and used to manipulate the flock of God into giving. Is tithing biblical? Does entering the ministry mean you’ve taken an oath of poverty? Is poverty a sign of spirituality? Is wealth?
