Presence removes the need for argument. Revival is a bi-product of His presence.
Join us this week as we go in a completely different direction from last week's discussion and cover the presence of God. This week we talk with Jeremy Connor, a friend of Dave Edwards’ and teacher at Bethel Life in their home church. We had a lot of fun yet covered some deep stuff as well, and ask challenging questions like: Do you value a book or do you value HIM? Is being ‘desperate’ for God or “spiritually hungry” actually a good thing or a sign of maturity? Is it really that easy to quench or grieve the Holy Spirit?
This week's intro: Fire On The Inside by Pillar.

Join us this week as we finally have back on the show author and international speaker S.J. Hill. He joins Dave Edwards and Steve Bremner as we talk about judgment again (it's been a couple of years so if you haven't heard those ones, check them out in our archive with SJ here).
We tried to discuss and answer some of the following questions: Does God really send disasters and calamities to cities and nations in order to teach its people lessons? If so, does it work? Does a ‘rapture mentality’ produce a people interested in what happens in the earth during their generation? Does the Church have way too pessimistic of an outlook when it comes to God’s involvement in the earth today? Does the Church embrace too much fatalism when it comes to dealing with every day events and natural disasters as they happen around the world?
How Is The Church specifically, and the culture in general, supposed to deal with ‘doom and gloom prophets whose ‘prophecies’ don’t come to pass? No, we’re not talking about fringe groups but ones who are more mainstream and accepted in both evangelical and charismatic circles.
Don't miss it! And don't forget to visit SJ's site at http://www.sjhillonline.com and his new podcast over at http://www.enjoyinggodpodcast.com/

This is an old message of Gregg Montella's, preached at the FIRE Holland Summer School nearly 5 years ago. Why post it you ask? If you haven't had a chance to listen to the previous episode "Do Holiness and Happiness Mix?" with both Gregg and author/speaker S.J. Hill, then you should--because this gem goes further into some of the things discussed in that show. I stumbled across this on my hard drive and gave it a listen and was blown away and think it needs to be shared. Many of us walk in powerful anointing but have rotten attitudes. In this message Gregg challenged and exhorted us to walk in love, not just the Spirit. You need to check this message out, and you'll get a few laughs too.

This week we're privileged to have back on the podcast author and speaker S.J. Hill, and world traveler Gregg Montella for some serious sacred cow killing.
What is the difference between fearing God and being afraid of Him? Do accountability relationships/groups really produce desired results, such as holiness? What does the Bible really mean when it teaches about 'death to self'?
Make sure to listen to this podcast, and if you're struggling with overcoming habitual sin, then you definitely don't want to miss out on this one. Don't forget to check out SJ's site: http://www.sjhill.com
Blessings and Merry Christmas!

This week we're privileged to finally have Gregg Montella on the podcast. Gregg's a world traveler, adventurer, mission-minded young man whom God seems to open amazing doors for. We talk about what it means being 'salt of the earth', a Russian worship music project he is producing, different methods and styles of sharing the Gospel and being all up in peoples' messes in a good and loving way. You don't want to miss this show. This week's intro: "Here I am Send Me" by Delirious.

Finally, a new episode is up! It's been a crazy summer--or winter here in Peru! We have S.J. Hill today talking about Romans 14 and First Corinthians 9--not judging one another over personal preferences in our walks with God, AND giving up things when we know we're a stumbling block to others. S.J. shares some humorous and yet sad examples of what some of our 'convictions' do to others when we put them on others when the Holy Spirit is not dealing with them in that area. What is the difference between a conviction and a preference? How do we have grace with and for others who may not share our personal convictions? All in all, an important topic, and a must listen.

Dan & Steve are finally back after a bit of a needed hiatus. This week begin a multiple part series on the topic of holiness. Is it even possible to live a holy, victorious and overcoming life, or are we always going to be bound to the sin that ensnares us? Is holiness the same thing as legalism? Can the believer still live however he/she wants, because sin has been covered by the blood of Christ? Is it possible or even likely to expect overnight change in the life of a new believer? We try tackling these issues in what will be the first of two or possibly three shows on this subject.
