Faith Isn’t Closing Your Eyes to Reality

Posted by Steve Bremner on 4th July 2008

This is the message Dr. Michael L. Brown preached during the last night of the Fire For Life Summer School 2007.  Faith is not closing your eyes to reality; it’s taking hold of the higher reality - listen to this message to fan into flame the promises God has spoken over the Netherlands–or apply these principles in whatever country or situation you find yourself desiring to see God spread revival and revolution.

Don’t forget to check out Dr Brown’s radio show, In The Line of Fire, airing live, Mon-Fri, 7:00-8:00 PM EST. You can listen to the streaming audio at wtru.com, and you can call in with questions or comments at 1-866-34TRUTH.  Or visit www.revolutionnow.org.

Episode 27: Is It Always God’s Will To Heal?

Posted by Steve Bremner on 6th May 2008

God is restoring power evangelism to the Body of Christ in this hour, so join us as we provide Scriptures to help anchor you in the subject of divine healing, and leave you no excuse for not stepping out and laying your hands on the sick.

Does God really keep people sick in order to teach them a lesson? Does God really withhold healing from anyone who seeks Him for it? What about those godly people who’ve sought God for healing but never got it, and even died in some cases? Does Scripture really teach that God gives us something different than what we ask Him for? Join us for a sacred cow slaughterhouse as we go through LOTS of Scripture on this one area.

Episode 25: There’s Life In The Blood

Posted by Steve Bremner on 10th April 2008

Is divine healing some special extra thing only certain believers with a lot of faith are able to get, or is it available to all believers? Do you have to get the sin out of your life first before God can heal you or use you to heal others? What is the atonement? Join us as we barbecue some sacred cows about healing, and do our best to convince you that God doesn’t play favorites with his children on this matter. Summer school update: we have one confirmed speaker. Listen to find out who it is, click here if you’d like to register. Also expect a bit of a hiatus until June in terms of how often new Fire On Your Head episodes get posted, as Steve will be in Peru for 6 weeks.

Episode 22: The Lost Art of Meditation & Confession

Posted by Steve Bremner on 17th March 2008

Dan & Steve continue their discussion on spiritual disciplines, such as Scripture memorization. What is Biblical confession? What is Biblical meditation? Join us this week and find out why what you always thought these things were is probably different than what the Bible actually teaches—and NOT some weird new age practices. I apologize for the poor sound quality—I used my computer’s internal mic, which picked the fan noise from inside the machine—very difficult to remove properly in editing.

Episode 14: No Guts, No Glory, No Newsletter Story

Posted by Steve Bremner on 14th January 2008

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usIn this week’s show Dan and Steve discuss specifically what it means to fully trust God with our whole lives, leaning on Him instead of our own strengths. Also included, some important updates regarding the ministry, and we also discuss a few ways to tell the difference between when God is leading you to do something compared to when our imagination is just running wild.

All in all, a must listen.

Not Ashamed

Posted by Steve Bremner on 7th January 2008

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us I highly encourage listening to this message. “For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:37-38.

If they persecuted the teacher, they will do so with the pupil. In an age where ‘pride’ is associated with homosexual lifestyle, why are many Christians living as though they are in the closet with the Gospel?

Join us for a revolutionary message by Dr. Michael L. Brown from the 2006 FIRE For Life Summer School. We are in a dangerous place when we’re trying to make the world ‘like us’ instead of being a light in a dark place and living out the Gospel message.

Posted by Steve Bremner on 29th October 2007

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Jerome Ocampo shares at one of the FIRE For Life summer school sessions about how if we don’t win this generation, then we’ve lost the whole battle altogether. It is now or never, and since most than half of this earth’s population is under the age of 25 it’s important we know how to reach this group. Pastor Jerome gives answers as to how to understand the digital generation, their characteristics and what our corresponding response should be.
