We continue our discussion on healing, and this time focus on doing it outside the four walls of the church. What did Jesus tell us to preach as we go and heal the sick? Joel Crumpton shares with us Scripturally how to minister healing. If you desire to be used of God to heal the sick and manifest the kingdom of God, then you will enjoy this simple and practical—yet testimony loaded discussion.

We get the sacred cow barbecue going again, this time with returning guest Joel Crumpton as we discuss healing.
What is the number one stumbling block people in the Church face with regard to being healed? What ‘condemns you in your heart’ before God, causing you not to receive healing? Why is it sometimes easier to see the unsaved healed in their bodies than it is to see Christians healed? Of what significance is it that we have promises of God’s in writing? Why do many Bible translations leave out Matthew 17:21? Join us as we discuss and sometimes answer these things in this week’s podcast, as well as give a few updates on the work of Fire Peru and the Book Sponsoring project. This week’s intro: Broken Heart, by Falling Up.

We mark our 50th episode of the podcast. We finally have Brian Parkman on the show, a teacher from FIRE School of Ministry. We talk about renewing the mind and meditating on the Word of God in order to change our belief systems, and the difference between believing what we perceive to be true vs. believing the truth.
Don’t forget to check out Steve’s recent appearance on the Line of Fire Radio (Oct 9th/09).

This week we’re privileged to finally have Gregg Montella on the podcast. Gregg’s a world traveler, adventurer, mission-minded young man whom God seems to open amazing doors for. We talk about what it means being ’salt of the earth’, a Russian worship music project he is producing, different methods and styles of sharing the Gospel and being all up in peoples’ messes in a good and loving way. You don’t want to miss this show. This week’s intro: “Here I am Send Me” by Delirious.

What is the fire of God? Are we ready for it? Do we really want it? This week we give lots of updates on the work and ministry of Fire Peru. Steve Bremner and Ron Smith discuss the United in the Fire of God conference of August 13-15th. We also talk about the Sponsor a Book project, the Spanish translation of Dr Michael Brown’s “A Time for Holy Fire” /Es Tiempo para El Fuego Santo,” and for the sake of our own personal hunger for revival, ask some questions about if we, as a body of believers are really wanting the fire of God to consume us and spread through and to the rest of the world. Visit www.fireperu.org for more info. This week’s intro: “Fire On The Inside” by Pillar.

Finally, a new episode is up! It’s been a crazy summer–or winter here in Peru! We have S.J. Hill today talking about Romans 14 and First Corinthians 9–not judging one another over personal preferences in our walks with God, AND giving up things when we know we’re a stumbling block to others. S.J. shares some humorous and yet sad examples of what some of our ‘convictions’ do to others when we put them on others when the Holy Spirit is not dealing with them in that area. What is the difference between a conviction and a preference? How do we have grace with and for others who may not share our personal convictions? All in all, an important topic, and a must listen.

We post this rather urgent evangelistic message about eternity. Today on the podcast, Joel Crumpton shares his experience and expertise in soul winning on the streets for over 25 years, and to inmates in jail. He shares powerful testimonies of God using him, and encourages you in sharing your faith with others.
We also take the time to explain the Gospel message and just why exactly someone goes to hell or to heaven. Do you know for certain where you’ll go?

This week we conclude with the second part of our interview/discussion with Dima Kurovsky on being called to the workplace. Are some people fulfilling pastoral and clergy roles who aren’t called to by God? Is there a serious consequence when Christians ignore whatever their calling may be in lieu of doing something else instead? What about laziness–is it a sin? We also have Matthias Glastra on the podcast to give an update about this year’s Fire For Life Summer School in the Netherlands.

This week we have the first part of a two-part interview/discussion with Dima Kurovsky, creation apologist, ‘tongues googler‘ and friend of Fire On Your Head. First we share some updates of life and ministry in Peru. In our discussion, we destroy the clergy/laity wall that many Christians believe exists, and lay a foundation that God has placed you where He has called you and you may have more opportunities to glorify God in a ’secular’ environment than you realize. Since statistically speaking, most believers are not called to ‘clergy’ ministry, this series is a must listen as we felt the Lord change our discussion topic and talk about this instead.

In this interview with Bryan Purtle we talk about the work he’s doing in Kansas with Tent of David Fellowship. We discuss the foundational role of apostles in the Church, compared to the title of ‘apostle’ used for other purposes. Are apostles the CEOs of church networks, ‘at the top of the church structure’ or is there something we’re missing when we look at this issue of apostolic fathering and fellowship in modern Christendom?

Christians and deliverance ministry: we wound up getting into it during my discussion with Ron Smith, director of Fire Peru while I interviewed him about the work down here in discussing our involvement with Derek Prince Ministries. We also talk about the need for living holy, sowing seeds of righteousness to the Spirit versus living in sin and growing seeds of the flesh, generational curses, and the consequences of not having sin dealt with in our lives as Christians. This week, Steve finally brings you brief updates about life and ministry in Peru and what to expect on the podcast in the near future.
The discussion this week: politics. What role is Christianity to play in our culture in terms of government? Does the Bible actually say anything about voting or not voting? What about Christians who vote favorably for candidates who hold to unbiblical values and campaign platforms? What is ‘separation of church and state’? Are believers to enter politics as a way of legislating morality, and the Gospel? How exactly are we called to make change in this world? Is the Church supposed to be changing society, or is the government?

We continue with part three in our series on God’s judgment. This part of the conversation, author and speaker SJ Hill, Dan Slavin and Steve Bremner talk about if modern day prophets are really right in assessing that God has or hasn’t decreed judgment on America. Has the Barack Obama presidency signaled the beginning of the end for America, and the world? Or are the ones ‘prophesying’ these kinds of things speaking out of frustration and disappointment, but void of God’s prophetic word? Can we have any hope, or just expect things to get worse and worse for the Church?

This week Dan Slavin & Steve Bremner continue with part two of our series with S.J. Hill on judgment. How come God saw fit to destroy the earth with a flood? Or scatter mankind and give them new languages at the tower of Babel? How can we reconcile a deity in the Old Testament who wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah, and had His people destroy all the women and children in some cities, with the loving Christ of the New Testament? We continue asking tough questions, and bring up the subject of the Nephilim in Genesis 6.

This week we are privileged to have author and itinerant speaker S.J. Hill back on the show, to discuss the taboo subject of God’s judgment. Does our understanding of judgment come from an Old Testament understanding of God’s dealings with His people? What is God’s holy jealousy? Does God send hurricanes to wicked cities? Is God temperamental with His creation, His followers, and the wicked?
Join us this week as we admittedly don’t have all the answers, but have a great discussion talking about these things with the lens of God’s ultimate character trait- agape.

Dan & Steve are finally back after a bit of a needed hiatus. This week begin a multiple part series on the topic of holiness. Is it even possible to live a holy, victorious and overcoming life, or are we always going to be bound to the sin that ensnares us? Is holiness the same thing as legalism? Can the believer still live however he/she wants, because sin has been covered by the blood of Christ? Is it possible or even likely to expect overnight change in the life of a new believer? We try tackling these issues in what will be the first of two or possibly three shows on this subject.

Join Dan Slavin and Steve Bremner this week as we continue our discussion from last week, and center specifically on Biblical community. What is it and is there a Biblical pattern we’re to follow for implementing it in our own lives and churches? Is there such a thing as a perfect and biblical Christian community anywhere today or is it just a pipe dream many are striving towards without fully attaining to?
