We continue with part three in our series on God’s judgment. This part of the conversation, author and speaker SJ Hill, Dan Slavin and Steve Bremner talk about if modern day prophets are really right in assessing that God has or hasn’t decreed judgment on America. Has the Barack Obama presidency signaled the beginning of the end for America, and the world? Or are the ones ‘prophesying’ these kinds of things speaking out of frustration and disappointment, but void of God’s prophetic word? Can we have any hope, or just expect things to get worse and worse for the Church?

This week Dan Slavin & Steve Bremner continue with part two of our series with S.J. Hill on judgment. How come God saw fit to destroy the earth with a flood? Or scatter mankind and give them new languages at the tower of Babel? How can we reconcile a deity in the Old Testament who wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah, and had His people destroy all the women and children in some cities, with the loving Christ of the New Testament? We continue asking tough questions, and bring up the subject of the Nephilim in Genesis 6.
Dan & Steve are finally back after a bit of a needed hiatus. This week begin a multiple part series on the topic of holiness. Is it even possible to live a holy, victorious and overcoming life, or are we always going to be bound to the sin that ensnares us? Is holiness the same thing as legalism? Can the believer still live however he/she wants, because sin has been covered by the blood of Christ? Is it possible or even likely to expect overnight change in the life of a new believer? We try tackling these issues in what will be the first of two or possibly three shows on this subject.

Were some of the healing commands God gave the disciples only for them to do in their generation? Does Matthew 7:21-23 teach that healing ministers are apostate? Does healing the sick really interfere with God’s sovereignty? How does sowing and reaping play a part in sovereignty and divine healing?

Sometimes we feel Him everywhere in our life, other times the heavens seem made of brass and like He couldn’t be further away. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). It’s a common catch-phrase used in many charismatic circles, but is the way “being led by the Spirit” commonly taught really biblical? What is the difference between being led by the Holy Spirit, and having the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16), or being a doer of the Word (James 1:22)?
Don’t let the title fool you–this is not specifically an end-times theology podcast. Has the escapist mentality of the generations of Christians before us “waiting for the Rapture to happen” caused distrust of this current generation towards leadership in the here and now? If we believe things are only going to get worse, do we have any hope to see a move of God take place in our generation if we think we’re going to escape “any minute now”?
