This week, Steve finally brings you brief updates about life and ministry in Peru and what to expect on the podcast in the near future.
The discussion this week: politics. What role is Christianity to play in our culture in terms of government? Does the Bible actually say anything about voting or not voting? What about Christians who vote favorably for candidates who hold to unbiblical values and campaign platforms? What is ‘separation of church and state’? Are believers to enter politics as a way of legislating morality, and the Gospel? How exactly are we called to make change in this world? Is the Church supposed to be changing society, or is the government?

In Reference to The speaker talking about how churches can speak about who to vote for in elections, they cannot. it is not in the constitution of the United States, however if you look under the Guidelines on IRS.gov under the section about churches and other 501c3 organizations, it is strictly prohibited. If Churches did want to talk about it, they would have to give up there tax exempt status.
